Can’t Get Enough Love Quotes!

The Measure of a HeartA regular feature of this blog is love quotes. I can never have too many love quotes in my life and I hope that others feel the same way. Part of the fun for me is searching and reading tons and tons of quotes until I find ones that resonate with me. There are always more to be read and ones that are not always from the usual suspects. Quotes make wonderful additions to weddings. When I write wedding ceremonies, I frequently use a love quote as a way to bring in a different voice and tempo from my own writing style. What are your fav love quotes?

“It is the time you have wasted for your rose that makes your rose so important.”
― Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, The Little Prince

“You are like nobody since I love you.”
― Pablo Neruda

“Love has nothing to do with what you are expecting to get – only with what you are expecting to give – which is everything”
― Katharine Hepburn, Me: Stories of My Life

“The heart is the toughest part of the body.
Tenderness is in the hands.”
― Carolyn Forché, The Country Between Us

“There is only one page left to write on. I will fill it with words of only one syllable. I love. I have loved. I will love.”
― Audrey Niffenegger, The Time Traveler’s Wife

“Any fool can be happy. It takes a man with real heart to make beauty out of the stuff that makes us weep.”
― Clive Barker, Days of Magic, Nights of War

“Don’t waste your love on somebody, who doesn’t value it.”
― William Shakespeare, Romeo and Juliet

“What greater gift than the love of a cat.”
― Charles Dickens

“One day spent with someone you love can change everything.”
― Mitch Albom, For One More Day
