It’s that time of year when there is good cheer around and people are in the holiday mood of giving and loving and sharing. There is no reason why we can’t take that holiday spirit to every day in our life—I say let’s make everyday a holiday! That means that whatever you are doing or wherever you are—including the office—look for ways to celebrate and honor everything.
Actually the idea came to me when the holiday cards started arriving. I love seeing family pictures from so many of my friends and getting the occasional newsy letter about their year. One card in particular stood out among the Season Greetings, Merry Christmases and Happy Hanukahs. The message was simple—Happy Everything! So in honor of that sentiment, let’s celebrate everyday and bring love, joy and kisses to everything!

Sitting under the mistletoe
(Pale-green, fairy mistletoe),
One last candle burning low,
All the sleepy dancers gone,
Just one candle burning on,
Shadows lurking everywhere:
Some one came, and kissed me there.
Tired I was; my head would go
Nodding under the mistletoe
(Pale-green, fairy mistletoe),
No footsteps came, no voice, but only,
Just as I sat there, sleepy, lonely,
Stooped in the still and shadowy air
Lips unseen—and kissed me there.
